      Verdict

      Sennockian Star has been nowhere near his best so far this year while Noble Citizen is back on a winning mark but has yet to win over further than a mile. Angelic Upstart is not badly handicapped but is hard to predict and Yul Finegold is likely to struggle in this higher grade. Boonga Roogeta coped well enough at this level when third a Brighton last time and Royal Flag drops back in trip in first-time headgear after a second at Windsor but a chance is taken on the returning STAMPEDE. He has a lengthy absence to overcome but is only 1lb higher than last year's win at Windsor with Cam Hardie's allowance taken into account.
