Verdict
It's difficult to make a confident case for any of this bunch. Born To Reign is a course and distance winner but has failed to figure in a couple of subsequent starts while Oakbank finally opened his account over 2m at Lingfield recently but is up in the weights. Corn Maiden returns to action off a 7lb lower mark back on the all-weather but THE FRENCH GREY improved for the step up to 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time and there may be more to come from her over this longer trip. Cathedral was placed at Hamilton recently but has just the one win in 27 starts and that came over 1m2f.
