Major Jack ran below par at Goodwood last time but has claims on his earlier second at Newmarket. Picture Dealer beat Golden Amber and Doctor Parkes when scoring over track and trip last month but has been beaten since while Upavon landed a double over course and distance before failing to figure off a lower mark back on Turf. Doctor Sardonicus is another course winner but is 6lb higher on his first start since May but Desert Strike was ahead of Red Stripes and Bertie Blu Boy when winning over 5f here a fortnight ago. Newmarket winner MUKHMAL returned to form with a third at Ascot last time and Mark Johnston's charge will go close with a similar effort in this.
