        Verdict

        It could pay to stick with BAL MAL, a winner over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton in February having finished runner-up over today’s distance at Kempton before that. He’s 3lb higher but this looks a weak contest. Eye Smiling gets help from the saddle with an apprentice taking 5lb off her back on only her second start handicapping and she’s preferred to Glencoe Boy. Socialize drops back down in trip for his handicap bow while Chromium is more exposed but slides further down the weights having won a seller last year.
