Mark Johnston’s two-year-olds are carrying nearly all before them and HIGH PEAK didn’t do a lot wrong when favourite over 6f at Newcastle 12 days ago. The extra furlong is unlikely to be a problem for the half-brother to seven winners, many of whom were best over a mile. Infant Hercules is bred for this trip and further so may prove the pick of the opposition, though it is interesting that Keith Dalgleish has opted to take on the boys with his Hot Streak filly Chilli Leaves and My Best Friend is also worth a second look.
