        Verdict

        Cotton Club caught Zakatal in the closing stages to win over 2m at Wolverhampton and is fancied to confirm running in this. Aldreth is upped only 2lb for winning over track and trip and is another to consider but MIDTECH STAR is preferred. The latter beat Luv U Whatever and Cavalieri when scoring over 1m6f here a fortnight ago and looks worth another try over today’s longer trip in his current form. Duke Street has won over hurdles since finishing third in last year’s renewal and Silver Quay can figure if lasting home.
