        Verdict

        Fundamental is creeping closer with a second at Salisbury a fortnight ago and is receiving weight from the penalised LETMELIVEMYLIFE. But the latter won nicely over 7f here on his debut when beating a subsequent winner by over three lengths and now sports the Qatar racing colours. Ertikaaz showed improvement at Kempton without looking like winning and Fabrizio made only a modest debut when fifth at Newmarket while Mr Ryder has plenty to find with Fundamental on these terms.
