Ring Eye’s earlier win at Chepstow came over 2m and Free Bounty scored over the same trip here a week ago. The latter makes most appeal of that pair despite carrying a penalty but Top Of The Rocks failed to cope with a 6lb rise last time for an earlier success in a seller at Beverley. Whitstable Pearl takes another step up in distance after going close at Lingfield recently and won over a mile here earlier this year. But James Fanshawe perseveres with ALWAYS SUMMER over today’s trip despite finishing a well beaten second over course and distance last month and she gets the nod with George Wood taking 5lb off her back.
