Verdict

Kempton winner LORD LOVELACE found only a subsequent handicap winner too good when carrying a penalty over track and trip last time and he should have the measure of these. Golden Owl showed a big improvement when runner-up at Chepstow and is fitted with additional headgear while Under The Twilight ran well for fourth at Kempton on her debut. Alhammaam has switched yards and drops down in trip on his return from an absence having earlier placed over 1m2f.
