        Verdict

        CIRQUE ROYAL finished a distance clear of the rest when beaten only a short-head at Wolverhampton on a recent debut. The Godolphin colt will likely prove a warm order in this and is preferred to stablemate Persuading. The latter may well prove the biggest danger given the modest form of the remainder including Perique, who finished closer at Lingfield last time without looking like winning. Shaleela's Dream and Copper Rose may do better today while the newcomer Ragnar should have no problem with today’s trip on breeding.
