Bumper winner Edene D'Arc faded over this trip on her hurdling debut at Limerick then couldn't quite get to French Made over the minimum on this track though she was conceding 19lb to the winner. Kilbarry Lily, who finished a close third, would have been second but for hanging quite badly and Rachael Blackmore takes over the reins. Joseph O'Brien runs Alighting and GIPSY LEE ROSE. The former would be the pick on her close third in a Listed contest at Punchestown a year ago but she's run poorly subsequently and failed to finish twice over fences in December. The latter, a winning point-to-pointer, didn't have the pace for a Fairyhouse bumper but this is much more likely to suit and she can make a successful hurdling debut.
