    Verdict

    A non-runner at Lingfield yesterday, connections presumably consider this a better opportunity for THE YANK and they could be right. He bids for a hat-trick having completed a double at Wolverhampton with Monday's victory and he has little to beat in this on recent form. Stablemate San Quentin remains 4lb higher than his win over 1m4f back in November and Toymaker has yet to score over further than a mile. Par Three and Dude Alert have both been hurdling without success of late and remain without a win under any code.
