      Verdict

      The superbly-bred Dalileo has only had three runs and the best of them came on this track. He makes his handicap debut but has a big weight to carry, a remark that also applies to the Frankel colt Guild, who didn't appear to enjoy soft ground at Ffos Las after winning easily on fast going at Bath. Night Story looked promising when scoring at Lingfield in March but hasn't progressed as expected while Neverbeen To Paris ran a shocker at Chepstow after his victory on ground with some give at Lingfield. Velvet Vision is taking a big step up in trip after her victory over a mile at Newcastle so the vote in a tricky handicap goes to DAGUENEAU, the only confirmed stayer in the race. A winner over 2m at Beverley, he may not have been suited by Goodwood last time and is tried in first-time blinkers.
