Poppy May won a Class 7 contest here before going close again at Southwell last time but MAGICINTHEMAKING is preferred. The latter unseated after clipping heels at Kempton last week when Athassel finished fifth but finished ahead of Secret Asset when scoring over course and distance in October and this looks no tougher, despite a 3lb higher mark. Black Truffle has been thereabouts over longer trips recently while Le Manege Enchante wasn’t beaten that far when sixth over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton.
