    Verdict

Gemologist was only head on the run-in at Doncaster and that was a marked step forward from her hurdling debut here when she finished behind Dagian. Travel Lightly is a course and distance winner who has run in a couple of Listed races. She probably ran up to form when second last time at Wetherby and makes more appeal than the more-exposed Bodes Well. A couple of hurdling newcomers catch the eye with GROVEMAN, twice a winner on quick going on the Flat last year for Charlie Hills, preferred to The Navigator.
