    Verdict

CLON COULIS found 7f too sharp on her only all-weather run on this track before stepping up to a mile and landing Listed contests and Pontefract and Ascot. David Barron will have her ready for this and she can see off Pattie. Mick Channon’s mare is only 1-12 on the all-weather but has placed seven times including in decent company the last twice. Emily Goldfinch completed a hat-trick over shorter trips in the autumn including over 7f here though that was her only all-weather victory in 15 starts. Lady Alavesa and First Link both arrive in good form though have a mountain to climb on official figures.
