        Verdict

        A rejuvenated Louis Vee bids for hat-trick having landed a double over 6f but his previous efforts over longer trips don't boost confidence. He did beat Tasaaboq earlier and the latter went close at Wolverhampton on Monday while Mercury wasn’t beaten far when fourth at the same track last time, though drops back in distance. BEGGERS LUCK (NAP) is finally back on a winning mark and getting closer to ending a frustrating sequence. She finished ahead of both Menelik and Little Big Man when a runner-up at Lingfield a week ago and first-time blinkers may bring about enough improvement for her to get her head back in front in this.
