        Verdict

        PITCHER’S POINT (NAP) finished third of only four runners when sent off odds-on favourite at Newcastle. But that was his first outing since November and John Gosden’s charge gets another chance fitted with cheekpieces for this. Arij has a shout on recent placed efforts and has the beating of Pactolus while Central City beat Bayston Hill when successful over track and trip last month. Lexington Force steps up in trip on his first start since September having been gelded while Newcastle winner High Commissioner and War Leader are others returning from lay-offs.
