Verdict

ROVANIEMI was only beaten a nose in a tougher Class 2 sprint over course and distance. He can go one better though Leodis Dream wasn’t far away in third and is not out of this. Last year’s winner Verne Castle has been thereabouts in lower grade contests and finished in front of Jack The Truth when second at Wolverhampton while Recon Mission won over the minimum trip at Lingfield before struggling over 6f at the same track. Texting will be winning again this year but may need this first outing since October.
