        Verdict

        Plenty with claims in an open contest. Brass Clankers won a classified contest over track and trip but is 6lb higher while Dawn View finished runner-up when sent off favourite here last month. Globe Theatre placed at Lingfield off today’s mark and additional headgear is applied but DAWN TREADER posted an improved effort when second at the latter track on his debut for a new yard and it could be his turn today. Followthestars finished closer at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut and this shorter trip should suit.
