Redcar winner Second Wave has been thereabouts in a couple of subsequent runs and is preferred to Estikhraaj, who has failed to threaten despite being placed on his last two outings. Argaki is holding his form well but is upped a further 6lb for winning at Ayr a fortnight ago while Pactolus is another to consider upped only 3lb for his victory over course and distance in August. But the penny dropped with EMERALD (NAP) at Ripon last time when he landed a maiden by four lengths and Marco Botti's charge may well be worth sticking with on his handicap bow.
