Verdict
Orobas has a 4lb penalty for last week's victory at a lower level at Lingfield, when Don't Do It was a beaten favourite, but Poppy Bridgwater's claim takes care of the extra. Overtrumped had shown very little before Hayley Turner rode him to an emphatic victory on soft ground at Newmarket in August but the vote goes to GAS MONKEY. Runner-up three times in succession, including here in February, he was well supported on a return visit last month but didn't enjoy the run of the race and compensation awaits. Bayston Hill goes well around here as does the front-running Squire, who has Jane Elliott's claim as a bonus.
