Twelve Bros has been running on the all-weather and Private Romance had an outing at Saint Cloud in March but it will be disappointing if this isn’t another one for Soumillon with SIMEEN defending an unbeaten record. Twice a winner over 7f last season, the Aga Khan’s Lope De Vega filly is out of a mare than won here over 1m2f so she is sure to enjoy the extra furlong. Jessely should find this easier than the Group 2 she contested at Maisons-Laffitte in October but a bigger danger may be Godolphin’s Bionic Woman. She was an honourable fourth in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp in October after winning at Saint Cloud and there is likely to be more to come this year.
