Verdict
This could provide the connections of Eagle's Landing with the opportunity to enjoy another successful day at the office, with Hattington, Golden Chance and Colway Ritz expected to give their charge the most to do. The Dean Ivory-trained gelding has not always been the most consistent of performers, but put in something like his best at Wolverhmpton last time. He faces a stiffer test here but his rider takes a useful 5lb off his back and he should relish the underfoot conditions. Hattington is still open to improvement at this sort of trip but faces no easy task off top weight. So the consistent Colway Ritz rates as a bigger threat on these terms. Golden Chance is also one to watch out for if supported in the betting ring.
