Verdict
Another very competitive handicap where many of the field come into the race with claims on the pick of their form, but the lightly weighted Sir Don makes plenty of appeal for a bit of value on these terms and he his selected over his stablemate True Night, and the in-form Golden Brief. The David Nicholls-trained four-year-old has taken well to racing in a visor and he is holding his form well at the moment. He copes well with this sort of ground and should make a bold bid from his low draw. True Night also has strong claims in this company but has never won off a mark this high and may struggle to give in excess of 4lb to his rivals today. Golden Brief is another that cannot be confidently ruled out but he is a weak finisher on occasions and is not one to rely upon too heavily. Differential and Give Him Credit look to be the best of the rest.
