In depth

Verdict

Comical Errors made a good impression when winning at Musselburgh last week and has been found a decent opportunity to follow up, with Goldstar Dancer and Truckle expected to pose the most problems along the way. The last named has taken to hurdles well and has improved with each outing so far. However, Patrick Haslam has a good line to the worth of his latest start and it will take an improved effort from him to prevail this afternoon. Goldstar Dancer also has form that ties in with the Haslam yard and despite being on an upward curve, he also has more to find to get the better of the selection. Satin Rose made a respectable hurdles debut and is another to bear in mind from the remainder. However, Comical Errors looks the one they all have to beat on the form already in the book and the mount Patrick Merrigan is fancied to take this next step in his progression in his stride.
