Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Kiama Bay won over this trip at Wolverhampton in January but is probably high enough in the weights now, a remark that may also apply to The Oil Magnate. Baltimore Clipper could go close if back to his best, while market support for Pertemps Networks would also be interesting. Royal Swain, successful over C&D in the autumn, is another to note but Mason Hindmarsh is trying a new trip on the Flat, though did won over hurdles at Aintree last October. DONNA ELVIRA proved frustrating to follow last season but Edwin Tuer has done well with similar types in the past and the Doyen filly would be hard to beat off this mark if reproducing her second to the useful Desert Sage at Chepstow last summer.
