Verdict
Sinadinou showed plenty of promise in his first season so it was disappointing that he could manage no better than fourth when odds-on at Southwell on his reappearance. He's entitled to strip fitter here and there'll be plenty prepared to give the gelding another chance but, at the likely odds, OLDMELDRUM may be a more attractive proposition. Ben Haslam's Verglas filly stepped up markedly on her Beverley debut when a never-nearer fifth over 5f here in October and, being a half-sister to the useful Bahama Mama, is sure to appreciate the extra distance today. Barkston Ash kept better company on occasions last year and may be the pick of the remainder.
