Okavango Delta was disappointing at Ayr after an earlier second at Kelso and MIDNIGHT CENTURION was a beaten favourite at Southwell after just coming up short at Uttoxeter. But the Southwell winner has franked the form since so Jamie Snowden’s five-year-old probably deserves another chance in a race like this. Fearless Action has only found one too good the last twice and the winning pointer Silver Flyer also warrants a mention given his stable’s record with similar types. Where's Hector was runner-up on debut at Hexham but that looked a weak contest.
