A small field goes to post for the first on the card and the principals look to be Fishlake Flyer, Divine Spirit and Royal Awakening ands we will take a chance on Fishlake Flyer. The filly from the James Given yard has been in fair form of late without winning and a reproduction of her latest third behind Varnay would see her go close this much easier track is sure to suit and she will be hard to beat. Royal Awakening is from a stable that has done well with it's two year olds so far this season and is worth noting in the market but he may just need this his debut run. Divine Spirit is another that could go well he was a good second behind Perfect Distance last time and if the rain stays away he is another that is sure to go well. Of the remainder Open Mind has also shown a modicum of ability but her best effort was with cut in the ground so for that reason we are happy to stick with Fishlake Flyer.
