Le Soleil, Balletomaine, and Bellalou are the three against the field in this wide open handicap and Le Soleil is taken to follow up a recent success. Bellalou has been trying her luck over hurdles recently but ran well on the Flat to be third at Pontefract. That was a fair effort, and receiving weight all round she can go well at a big price. Balletomaine is by Sadler¿s Wells so should be able to handle an easy surface but he has shown little evidence of that so far. He was a good third at Redcar last time though and Barry Hills¿ runner is respected. Barney Curley¿s Le Soleil landed a major gamble at Wolverhampton last time. That was a significant step up on his previous form and provided he can handle this different surface he will be hard to beat. Le Soleil can win again.
