Log Off is upped 5lb for winning over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton but La Vie En Rose scored over today’s distance at Lingfield and makes some appeal. Breakwater Bay went close over 1m4f at Beverley last week and can figure again racing off the same mark but a chance is taken on VEILED SECRET. He steps up in trip for his reappearance and handicap debut having failed to threaten over 7f last year but much better is expected from Sir Mark Precott’s colt over middle-distances this year.
