Verdict

Requinto Dawn reverts to his best trip and is only a pound higher than when second to the in-form Savalas at Thirsk last month. He looks the one to beat but Bob Cowell’s three-year-olds have an excellent strike-rate here and the trainer has few peers when it comes to sprinters. BOBBY’S CHARM wasn’t beaten far on his reappearance at Windsor and first-time cheekpieces could help him get over the line in front today. A lack of a recent run is a worry for Excellently Poised but Viscount Loftus should be ready and makes more appeal than the exposed Global Academy and Becker, who is better on Polytrack.
