    Verdict

All four can be given a chance here but we'll give the vote to Moonlake. The selection returned from a long absence to win impressively on his chasing debut and would be an appropriate winner of a race named after the village from which Ferdy Murphy operates. Argento won from a mark of 95 over hurdles and, after falling on his debut, showed enough on his second run over fences - behind Ferdy Murphy's Island Faith - to suggest he will win his novice. Double Blade has won nine times over hurdles, achieving a rating has high as 117 in the process. He holds a chance but, as this is his chasing bow, we prefer the selection. Through The Rye will be fit from a recent Flat run here and, having achieved a mark of 121 over hurdles, certainly has ability and his trainer has always thought he'd do well over fences. An intriguing contest, then, but we'll side with experience and give the vote to Moonlake.
