The maiden Dream Deal was second at Pontefract two runs ago but 5f is his trip. The four at the top of the weights are all course and distance winners. Quercus beat Woodlands Charm in June and has won again twice here since with the subsequent track and trip winner Wade's Magic only third when Ann Duffield’s charge was successful last time. HURSTWOOD beat Giselles Izzy on worse terms at Ripon at the start of June. He’s not been beaten far in better company the last twice and has been dropped a couple of pounds for this. Lady Celia has had a light campaign and won’t be fazed by underfoot conditions so also goes on the shortlist.
