      Verdict

A prolific winner over 6f, Mr Orange finished just ahead of ALIENTO when fifth at Pontefract. But the latter makes more appeal over today’s trip having ended last year with a course and distance success - Michael Dods’ charge can come out best on this occasion. Glengarry won over a mile at Redcar last month but was beaten by Willing To Please in a claimer at the same track subsequently. God Of Dreams’ earlier success came in soft going while Gently Spoken finished second at Beverley last time without looking like losing her maiden tag.
