This is a fascinating contest and we will side with Mexican Pete to take the spoils ahead of Lost Spirit and Tempsford. The selection has had a short break from the track after a busy spell of racing which culminated in a disappointing effort at Haydock last time. He is rising in the weights but seems to be progressing the right way and is hugely consistent. Lost Spirit is in good form at the moment and should go well after just being touched off by the progressive Ellway Heights at Hamilton. Ellway Heights has gone on to win since to give that form a solid look, and with Joanna Badger in the plate, Lost Spirit could go close. Tempsford has had a good run but has been creeping up the weights, while Swynford Pleasure is in good form and could also go well. Not an easy race to predict, but Mexican Pete is game and consistent and looks the one to beat.
