Verdict

Cockney Beau made a promising debut at Hexham in June and may just have needed the run on last month's reappearance here. Minella Beauty ploughed through the mud at Toomebridge in October and is out of a winning hurdler while Steinkraus has a nice pedigree and ran well in a point in Ireland earlier this year. Show Promise has the benefit of experience having run three times last winter, the latest at Newcastle in March when beaten a length in heavy going. Blueskyandsunshine cost €90,000 but has a stayer's pedigree and the one to note here is RUN A RIG. Martin Keighley's filly, owned by Zara Tindall, is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first three foals to race and gets the nod to hold up the family tradition.
