Verdict
NOTALOT was far from disgraced in a hot nursery at Doncaster 10 days ago having won his two previous starts at Chepstow. He's undoubtedly improved for the switch to handicaps and Louis Steward's claim and a low draw make him the one to beat here. Having run in cheekpieces and a visor in his last two, Law Power is now tried in blinkers. He is just beginning to edge down the weights and has place prospects. Tailor's Row was third at Chester last time when a pound higher and he's preferred to stablemate Geophony. Dandy Place ran his best race so far at Carlisle earlier this month but that was over 6f.
