SIMPLE JIM was conceding 20lb to Danceintothelight when fourth behind Micky Hammond's charge in a version of this race a year ago and is well enough handicapped to gain revenge and take this. His last two runs have been on soft ground and he's much better on quicker going. All grounds and distances come alike to Eijaaz, especially around this track where he's recently won two claimers, though he may just be a couple of pounds high in the weights now. Daytime Dreamer doesn't win very often but is on a fair mark nowadays while Miss Ferney didn't enjoy soft conditions at Newcastle after a comfortable success over this trip at Redcar.
