        Verdict

        MID ATLANTIC STORM journeys over from Ireland with leading claims. He was only fifth when fading in the closing stages over a mile at Limerick but the winner is now rated 77 and Gavin Cromwell’s charge faces weaker opposition in this. Oblate finished a lot closer at Beverley last time and is another dropping down in trip while Raksha has shown little progress over shorter trips but is weighted to beat the more exposed horses. Sorbonne looks nothing out of the ordinary though could still get involved.
