Verdict

Alan Swinbank seems to dominate in these bumper races in the north and he can bag another one with his contender VIVONA HILLl with both Miss Vertical and Pokanoket worth noting. The selection won on his debut at Wetherby and was only just pipped at the post when sent off a short priced favourite at Sedgefield last time out under a penalty. E has once again got the penalty to deal with but he looks a class act and he should be good enough to win another bumper race before he embarks on a hurdles career. Miss Vertical ran well enough to finish third at Sedgefield on her debut last season. She can improve on that but may well benefit for the outing. Pokanoket has run well in both his bumper races this season. He clearly has ability and another solid run can be expected but he may fair better once he turns his attention to hurdle races. So for the winner we return to Vivona Hill.
