Verdict

Rust had some useful juvenile form but has been on a downward spiral for some time now and the Duffield team is having a wretched time of things this season with just a solitary winner on the board. Princess Myla tries this trip for the first time but Showtime Star looks the only one who could possibly improve after just two runs not totally devoid of promise. However, IRONDALE EXPRESS, placed in fair Class 5 handicap company on his last three starts, is head and shoulders above these rivals on the formbook and is impossible to oppose.
