Most of these find winning difficult but Sewn Up was good enough to land the spoils at Wolverhampton in April and hasn't been at all disgraced in subsequent efforts in Class 6 handicaps. This is his trip and he's a leading player here dropped into selling company for the first time. In contrast, THRUST CONTROL hasn't contested at this trip for nearly two years but Joe Fanning rates a good booking for Tracy Waggott's 7-y-o who has been producing some fair performances over a furlong further whilst suggesting that a drop in trip could well be of benefit. He's a hopeful choice at the likely prices. Dodina hasn't been anywhere near her best on the last four tries, probably why she's dropped to this level. However, she'd have every chance if recapturing her earlier form, especially with Megan Carberry's claim taken into account.
