FLYING DOCTOR is back to a nice mark and is taken to see off both Amir Pasha and Mardood in a winnable race. The selection was well-held on his comeback run at Musselburgh on his first start for a new yard but he should come on plenty for that run. His previous effort behind Lie Forrit catches the eye and proven on soft ground, this son of Mark Of Esteem is fancied to get back to winning ways. Amir Pasha won nicely here last time out in selling grade and cannot be overlooked with confidence high now racing off a 6lb loftier perch, Samizdat is consistent and should have ideal ground conditions, whilst Ice Image has the tongue-tie back on as he steps out of novice grade for the first time. Hernando Cortes shaped with promise on his comeback run at Musselburgh and has been dropped a pound for that effort, whilst any market move for Ginger's Lad would have to be taken seriously but he does look rather modest. Crystal Prince comes here in better form; he has a 3lb rise in the weights to contend with but he looks of interest as his trainer's first runner at the track. Old-timer Amjad is consistent and looks fairly treated at present, Mr Floppy represents a yard in form and this chaser may improve for continuing over hurdles, whilst Qaasi ran an ok race here last time out. Mardood is yet another to consider off bottom-weight now back up in trip, however it is with little confidence that we select Flying Doctor.
