Verdict

Ashover Hills led for a long way before weakening quickly on the run-in when tackling 2m at Hexham and will need to be ridden with more restraint. Barrule Park started favourite for a Carlisle bumper in October but finished a long way last so is probably best watched. BRORSON's narrow defeat by Top Bandit at Cheltenham is easily the best form on view as the winner has scored twice subsequently at Punchestown. Martin Keighley's charge wasn't beaten far in a handicap on a return visit and today's longer trip can see him off the mark. Kelso bumper winner Just Paddy's Band may prove best of the remainder.
