Tim Easterby had a surprise winner at Southwell on Sunday but it wouldn't be a shock if Fourjacks took the spoils here. Closely related to a couple of winners, he made a promising start behind Dark Glacier at Kelso last month and the experience will not have been lost on him. Pasture Bay went to Kelso in May with a strong reputation and started favourite. He couldn't quite cope with the speed of Freddie Brown but stayed on powerfully at the finish and looks a nice prospect. DUNOWEN POINT is more likely to be suited by bumpers than the aforementioned duo, however, as his dam is from a Flat-based family. He looked all over the winner when taking the lead at the furlong pole over 2m1f at Hexham in October but was caught close home by Cool Vic. This tighter track and slightly shorter trip can see compensation gained.
