        Verdict

        Considering he had to overcome trouble in-running, EVEN STEVENS' victory in a nursery over the minimum trip at Kempton in October was all the more meritorious. He has joined Dandy Nicholls' yard since his win and with decent claimer Billy Cray easing his burden, he can take this if handling the surface. Finn's Rainbow has to come into the reckoning having gone close over C&D last week and Ace Master has improved for racing on the Fibresand and finished a decent third over 7f here last month. Better is also expected from Irish Boy dropping in class.
