Adrian Nicholls saddled a number of sprint winners last month and ABATE battled on well to take a decent prize at Newmarket. Michael Bell has only the one runner at the track so Natural Path must be respected accordingly. Ruth Carr’s stable have won this race in the past so don’t rule out a big run from Embour following a recent wind surgery. Of the remainder, Bay Breeze has gone a fair chunk up the weights since he dotted up in an early-season handicap at Ripon having won again at the same track subsequently.
