        Verdict

        Rated 74, CORONATION DAY has failed to improve on a promising debut effort at Wolverhampton but she still looks to have leading claims in this company. She has plenty to spare with the likes of Triassic and Ballyer Rallyer on these terms and the less exposed types have shown little so far. Coquine and Roundabout Time are likely improvers but the newcomer Captain Peaky, a half-brother to five winners may prove a bigger threat.
